i installed 2008r2 in client machine. when i open the reporting services through ssms i got an error.the error is reportserver instance not find. i am also try to connect ssis,ssas,databaseengine these are sucuessfully connect. how to resolve this problem.

  • I beleive you cannot connect like that unless you have form authentication and basic authentication is set up and you can use that credentations to connect to SSRS from SSMS.

    I am curious why would you want to connect SSRS from SSMS though?

  • i am also trying to open the reportserver manger in web brower but it is not connected. when i trying to connect reporting manager i got an error is virtual directories not configure please give me ur suggestions for to resolve problem
