Not enough server storage is available to process this command and poolmon.exe

Feb 22 2011 7:30AM by Jack Vamvas

Transfering a 110 GB file using ESEUTIL– which is a non-buffering tool – I was receiving this error message at 80% transfer of the file

This indicates resource limits are being used. The confusing aspect is that ESEUTIL is a non-buffered approach to copying files, so I was stumped with this message:

FAILURE: GetOverlappedResult (read): Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

Rebooting the 2 servers cleared the problem, After a couple of weeks – the problem reappeared. I did some memory analysis – using poolmon.exe – and discovered a memory leak with the Anti-Virus software.
