SQL Server 2012 RC0 is here!

Nov 17 2011 12:00AM by James Serra

SQL Server 2012 RC0 (Release Candidate 0), formerly known as SQL Server Denali, is now available for download.  SQL Server 2012 RC0 is the first release which is feature complete.

This was unexpected as no one gave any hints that it was coming.  Reminds me of The new phonebook’s here!.

Download your evaluation version and try the new features here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=28145

Be sure to check out What’s New in SQL Server 2012 RC 0.  Note that you can upgrade from CTP3 to RC0 in place(Installing SQL Server 2012 RC0).

If you had previously installed CTP3 of SSDT/Juneau, you will need to un-install it (Uninstalling SQL Server Developer Tools CTP3) before installing CTP4 (Download Available: SQL Server Data Tools CTP4).  Download CTP4 here.
