News from SQLPASS 2011: SQL Azure federations and 150 GB database coming by the end of the year!

Update: SQL Azure federations is live! And MaxSize of SQL Azure DB is now 150 GB

 

Quick blog post to let you know that

1) we will have a 150 GB database by the end of the year! (FYI: The max size supported as of today is 50 GB)

2) SQL Azure federations which will be supporting scaling out of SQL Azure databases out of the box. This would be a great feature! I can’t wait.
