Our piece is really coming together now. But let's spice it up with a little texture. Using the Bokeh texture provided in the first chapter, let's add this as another background but not covering the circles. Create a new group in your layers panel, and call it “Textures Background” Drag it down under the main “Circles” folder.
Now go to File > Import > Place and select the image Bokeh.jpg. Make sure you place this texture in the Textures Background folder.
Your folders should look like this

Your canvas should look like this now.

Now we need to stretch this out to make it fit our whole background. Go to Edit > Transform > Scale.
Grab the item from the corner and rotate it 90 degree's to make it vertical. Drag it up to the edge on the top left and stretch it until it meets the right side of the canvas. It should look like this now.

Set the layers blend mode Linear Light, and set it's opacity to 50%.

Now let's let a gradient over this background. In our foreground and background color boxes, set the colors to #FF9900 and #006699.
Create a new layer in your background textures tool by going to Layer > New > Layer. Name it Gradient. Leave the rest.

Now select the Gradient Tool and use make a gradient exactly in the middle. Click about ¼ down from the top and drag to ¼ down from the bottom. Hold shift to make sure the gradient stays straight.

Set the gradients Blending Mode to Color, and set it's opacity to 75%. Your final outcome should look like this.
