Getting Started with Photoshop - Part 1: Overview

This tutorial is designed for anyone who has never used Photoshop. Using basic techniques such as the Shape tool, layers, color adjustments, and other tools to create this interesting abstract digital poster. This poster is inspired from science, specifically the table of elements and using abstract design to convey these elements.

After this tutorial you should be able to do the following

  • Shape Tools

  • Selections

  • Basic Spot Healing Corrections

  • Blending Modes

  • Setting Opacity

  • Texturizing

  • Basic Type Usage

In order to start, you'll need to gather a couple resources of images available below to download:

Resource 3

Once you have these resources open up Photoshop and go to File > New Document and we want to use the size in pixels, make the document size 1296x1728 with a Resolution of 72.

  • Nice tutorial starts.before all the tutorial are based on programming .but it based on design which really helpful to designer as well as developer also.
