One can view & print excel files on computers that do not have excel installed. search for "excel viewer" .

Business scenario: when it does not make sense to buy a license when all you need is view & print excel files.

Another option: Get a Microsoft Live Id (open a Hotmail, Outlook.com or SkyDrive account) Upload the file to SkyDrive

You'll be able to view (and edit!) the Excel file within your browser.

If you write about that tool, please add some info about usage of it. For example, from where get it ? Or some about compatibility with full versioned Excel?
