HotKeys to comment in VisualStudio/ManagementStudio

ManagementStudio & Visual Studio:

  • press [Ctrl+KC] to comment code (works also on selected lines), but comment out only whole lines.
  • press [Ctrl+KU] to uncomment code (works also on selected lines), but comment out only whole lines.

but for VS, at HTML source, it may comment only parts of code.

  • This has got to be amongst my top 10 most-used keys, and the best part about it is that because almost every developer IDE (including SSMS) is based on the Visual Studio shell one does not have to remember multiple combinations - one combination works for all. Just like Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V!

  • It's good adam. and for multiple line Comment we can use this one too but apart from that " /* */ " we can use.
