Always try to respect files and directories'names' cases when deploying

This is quite a generic tip. Now and then in a developper's lifetime, he faces annoying bugs he eventually found to be related to some filenames' cases.

The last time it happend to me was an hour ago after I had deployed an aspx website and tried to fixed an "incogitable" bug for about two hours. I never paid much attention to all my files' names that got lower cased on the server. When everything works fine the way it is, you're likely to think you're doing everything correctly. And when you eventually do something like this: new ResourceManager(global::System.Reflection.Assembly.Load("AppGlobalResources").GetType("Resources.MSubsetmembers")) , you're not bound to expect that case suddenly matters.

So, always try to respect files and directories'names' cases when deploying. It will eventually saves you time.

Since I grew up in the UNIX world where case does make a difference, I also make sure that I don't use any white spaces in file names. Windows programs are much more forgiving of the space in a file name, but they can also be very sticky.
