I have worked with SQL Server for close to 15 years now starting with 6.5. Most of my experience is on 2000 and only recently have I been working to update my skills playing with 2005 and 2008. I recently finished a contract as a consultant for First Data Corporation where I supported (new development, operational support and client relations) a prepaid card auto-reload product developed for First Data by my former employer NBO Systems. In 12 years at NBO, I was a programmer, systems analyst, Director of Software Engineering and finally CIO. Much of the time I was the DBA as well although I never held that title. Even in management positions there I continued to be involved in development as a software engineer (.NET VB/C#, C/C++, ASP Classic), database developer, architect, analyst and DBA.
